Classy hotel at good location very close to Paddington station. Very friendly staff. Nice lobby rooms that could also be used for receiving business visitors of hotel guests. Free wireless Internet.
My double room was adequate for single occupancy, but would have been cramped for two people. I was offered free welcome tea, which had become coffee when it was delivered to my room, and the pot of coffee was not removed during my stay. No restaurant or bar facilities.

Very friendly staff and location in a peaceful environment near to city centre with good connection to Eurostar. It was possible to leave our luggage after check out. Personnel souriant et efficace. Bon emplacement au calme, proche du centre, facile d'accès depuis St Pancras. De plus il nous a été possible de laisser nos bagages après avoir quitté la chambre.

I think the prices were horrendous, £650 per night which was clearly because there was an event in the vicinity which had under provisioned. Given the price, and i can't say the staff i did speak to weren't nice, i would still have expected them to : carry my suitcases for me, have wifi, have a room with a sensible view, have a breakfast room whereby i could sit and enjoy my first meal of the day (instead of having no option other than to eat it in my room). Whilst i do think the hotel has a certain traditional feel about it, the decor is clearly in need of updating. I didn't dislike the hotel or the staff, just think for £600 a night i should have expected a premium experience, instead of just 'ok'.

Staff were excellent and helpful, breakfast still hot when it reached our room. Plus the champagne afternoon tea superb.
Arrive in time for the restorative afternoon tea, you will not regret it.

Location, Staff (wonderfully helpful and professional), ability to park car in central London. Room size not too bad for London. Even at night it is a easy walk from Regent Steet.
Cost is quite high even for London, if breakfast and/or parking hand been included it would have felt like better value. Bathroom had good equipment and fittings but et down by the installation, silicone and tile finish is very amateur

Everything was enjoyable about my experience except for the fact that the air system was broken in my room. They were honest about the issue and tried to fix it but it was obvious they had the problem for a bit of time. The room was too warm most of the time and could not be adjusted. Other than this, it was a good experience and I would stay there again, especially if they address the the issue of the ac.
